Dan O'Donell's comments

1. William M. - Your poster looks really great! I would just move the silhouette a
little to the right and evenly distribute the black and yellow on the silhouette.
I really like the eyes peering through the words so that the message is
     understood immediately.

2. Gage K. - Beautiful poster! Very vivid and colorful. If you could just make the
words and pictures a bit bigger, it'll be easier to see. I really like the tower - it
appears as though it is projecting into the sky.

3. Jieun K. - The 3-D look of the letters is neat and they seem to pop out. But
would you consider using a photo of space in the background instead of just
blue? Also, may the moon could have more detail, like craters for instance.
     Otherwise, nice job!

4. Josh B. - Your poster is quite interesting! On one hand, maybe the hand and
butterfly could be closer together to perhaps enhance the impact of the
message. On the other hand, it's good as is because it appears as though the
hand is reaching out for the butterfly. Perhaps the trenches could be a little
more detailed. Great job on this project!

5. Josh G. - Your poster certainly has the theme of a rock band. It's interesting
how the creature appears out of what looks like a lighted tunnel. Maybe the
words on the left could be more relaxed like the words on the right. If you
want, maybe have the white in the poster be black. Good job on this!

6. Liz D. - I really like this one! It certainly looks to be a classic story. The faded
imagery contrasts nicely with the brightened imagery. I think the brown block
at the bottom could be translucent so it blends in better with the picture.
Also, maybe the blue text could have an even more ancient typeface if
     possible. Well done!

7. Matt D. - The elements "Br" and "Ba" being used in the title was strategic. I
would probably make the Periodic Table opaque. The pictures of the people
at the top of the poster could be more colorful. As a whole, the theme of this
     poster really stands out.
8. Max B. - What I liked most about the poster was the Poke Ball being slightly
turned as if it was thrown. But could you give an indication of the meaning
behind the bicycle? Also, I think it would be good if Professor Oak wasn't so
close to the text. This is a well designed poster.

9. Maya D. - Your posters are very creative! For your first poster, Harley Quinn
would be more accurate if you gave her white skin and a jingle hat. For your
second, maybe you want to put more space between the character's head
and the text. I think the vibrant and varied use of colors really make both
     posters stand out.

10. Nick D. - I find the messages conveyed in your poster to be persuasive and
motivating. But I'm having trouble making out the characters for their lack of
clarity. Also, maybe the font could be even more space-themed. Great job.

11. Nick H. - The poster shows the theme of a comic book. Perhaps you can use
simple sentences to enhance the messages and not just words. Maybe the
picture can be a little brighter too. Well designed poster.

12. Paul S. - I like the 2 people scattering away from the falling object. I think
the Cave Jonson name should be at the bottom right corner. If it's "Johnson",
make that correction. Otherwise, well done!

13. Rob B. - Instantly, the first thing I notice is the big "Red" word - it really
stands out! Because Taylor Swift is so famous, I would try to have her name
be in her own handwriting if that isn't already. If Ed Sheeran takes the
spotlight away from her, consider removing his name. Kudos on this one!

14. Robert R. - Talk about strategy! A giant robot is an excellent figure for a war
poster. If it's possible to include the army and planes, go ahead and do so if
you want. Maybe you can also include a fire rising up to the hook and
hammer to emphasize your message. Great work on this poster!

15. Saraya - All the elements work together as a whole in this poster. The
creative border, figures, and main attractions certainly draw much attention
to it. I would have the characters sit on clouds, stars, magic carpets, etc., so
they could stand out even more and not look like they were just dumped
there. Maybe the other attractions can be better explained. Well done!

16. Spencer T. - It cool that you used bark for the border - it makes it look like
you stapled the picture onto a tree. If possible, maybe you can clarity the
picture so people can tell whether or not the tree is attached to the person.
The same can be said for the stick so people can tell what the man is
holding. This is a very cool poster!

17. Victoria P.-P. - The typeface of the title and the overall picture get the
message across very well. But the characters could be a bit clearer and a bit
more detailed. Other than that, I really like your poster!

18. Zachary T. - Your poster looks very interesting. It kind of looks like a video
game or movie cover. Since it is meant to be a rock band album, maybe you
can make it look more like a case for a CD. Good job on it!

Dan also wanted to add this as background info on his piece:
I wanted to copy and shrink photos to use for the spectators in the bleachers, but I didn't know how to do it. I figured by drawing them in, the poster would appeal to both kids and adults. Also, using a small photo would have lost its resolution in the poster. I wanted to also bring attention to the soccer player and Coca-cola photos and slogan because they were the sponsors in the FIFA World Cup. I thought putting together the different features would make the poster fun and interesting. I hope you liked it!
