Virtual Critique next Wednesday, November 6!

We will having a virtual critique for the Poster Project. This means you do not need to come to class as normal. Instead, you are to make comments of thoughtful observations on each student's work which should be posted on the blogs. Check the list at the right for a list of student blogs.
There are a few requirements for this to work:

1. You must post your poster to your blog by class time (8:30 am on Wednesday Nov 6). It is a good idea to write a little bit about your poster in the post. You might write what your intention was, or something about the process, anything that would be helpful for us to know in order to give you a thoughtful critique. You may also post other versions of your poster, or your research. JUST MAKE SURE WE KNOW WHAT YOUR FINAL VERSION IS.

2. You must comment on each student's work. At least two constructive criticisms and one positive observation (there may be more, these are usually easier).

3. You must make your posts by the end of the day on Wednesday November 6 (at midnight). If you are late, still make the posts but you will lose points. Yes, you will be getting graded on this!!!!!

Homework for next week, 10/29/13

Watch Helvetica, a brilliant documentary on the widely used font. Write a response (at least a short paragraph) to the film and post it to your blog.

You will need your student ID to work in the lab. It will most likely be 216 that is open.
